What we collect
We only collect what you give us through the site, and only what we need to answer you.
- Membership applications and Concierge requests: your name, email, phone number, the membership level you are interested in, and anything you write to us.
- Pro Shop orders: your name, email, shipping address and what you ordered. Payment is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- NAMASTAY bookings: your name, email, phone number, the session you request, and the home address or hotel and room where it takes place.
- NAMASTAY memberships: billing is handled by Stripe. We receive your name, email, plan and payment status.
- Identity verification: before a first in-home or in-room session, guests verify a government-issued photo ID and a selfie through Stripe Identity. See the section below.
- Instructor applications: your name, contact details, qualifications, résumé and anything else you choose to send.
- Event RSVPs: your name, contact details, which parts of the day you will attend, guests, notes and, where offered, a jacket size.
How we use it
- To review applications and reply to requests.
- To fulfill and ship orders, and to send receipts.
- To schedule, confirm and bill NAMASTAY sessions and memberships.
- To keep our instructors safe by confirming who they are visiting.
- To contact you about something you asked for.
We do not sell your information, rent it, or share it for advertising.
Identity verification
Because NAMASTAY instructors come to your home or hotel room, every guest verifies their identity before a first session. We use Stripe Identity to do this. You take a photo of your ID and a selfie on your own device, and Stripe confirms that the ID is genuine and that the photos match. We see the result and the details on your ID. We do not keep separate copies of your ID or selfie on our own systems.
We use Stripe to verify your identity. Stripe collects name, email, phone number, address, facial images, identity document images, and ID numbers as well as advanced fraud signals and information about the devices that connect to its services. Stripe shares this information with us and also uses this information to operate and improve the services it provides, including for fraud detection. You may also choose to allow Stripe to use your data to improve Stripe’s biometric verification technology. You can learn more about Stripe and read its privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.
If you would rather not verify with a selfie, write to the Club and we will arrange another way to confirm your identity.
Who helps us
A few trusted services handle information on the Club’s behalf:
- Stripe for payments, memberships and identity verification.
- Netlify for hosting this site and receiving the forms you submit.
- Resend for sending the Club’s notification emails.
- Microsoft 365 for the Club’s email.
Each one uses your information only to provide its service to us, under its own privacy policy.
Cookies and browser storage
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The site remembers what is in your Pro Shop bag on your own device, and Stripe uses cookies during checkout and verification to keep payments secure.
How long we keep it
We keep information only as long as we need it to serve you, run the Club’s business and meet legal and tax requirements. Applications we do not proceed with are deleted periodically. Order and payment records are kept as required for accounting.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information we hold about you by writing to info@aspenbeachclub.com. We will reply within 30 days.
We use Stripe for identity document verification. Stripe retains a copy of all the data provided as part of a verification. You may also have consented to allow Stripe to use your data to improve their technology. You can delete your information from Stripe’s servers or revoke your consent by contacting Stripe support at support.stripe.com.
Members under 18
The site and its services are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has sent us information, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
